How to Get Pages Indexed Fast in 2026
Fast indexing comes down to two things: telling search engines a page exists, and making sure the page is worth indexing when they arrive. An instant indexing tool handles the first part. IndexNow lets you notify Bing and other participating engines the moment a URL is published, updated or deleted, instead of waiting for the next crawl of your sitemap.
The second part is on the page itself. A URL that returns an error, redirects, carries a noindex tag, is blocked in robots.txt or points its canonical somewhere else will not be indexed no matter how many times it is submitted. That is why Instant Index checks every URL first and tells you what to fix.
For Google, keep an accurate XML sitemap, link new pages from pages that are already indexed, and use the URL Inspection tool in Search Console for your most important pages. If you have a Service Account set up, Instant Index can send URLs to the Google Indexing API as well.

What is a website indexer?

A website indexer (also called a URL indexer or site indexer) is a tool that tells search engines your pages are new or updated so they crawl them sooner. Instant Index is a free website indexer that uses IndexNow and, optionally, the Google Indexing API.
Is Instant Index a Google indexer?

It can be. With your own Google Service Account key it submits URLs to the Google Indexing API, about 200 per day. Without a key it notifies Bing and other IndexNow engines; Google then finds your pages through your sitemap. See our Google Indexing API setup guide.
What is Instant Index?

Instant Index is a free instant indexing tool. You paste URLs, upload a list or import a sitemap, and it tells search engines those pages are new or updated so they crawl them sooner. It uses the open IndexNow protocol, and it can also use the Google Indexing API if you add your own key.
Is this instant indexing tool really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no credits and no paid plan. You can submit up to 10,000 URLs per batch through IndexNow and check up to 100 URLs at a time before you submit.
Do I need to log in or link Google Search Console?

No. For IndexNow you upload one small text file to your website to prove you own it. That is the only verification. You never connect Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools.
Which search engines get my URLs?

One IndexNow submission is shared with Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver and Yep. Bing results also power several other search and AI assistants, so faster Bing discovery helps there too.
Does IndexNow submit my URLs to Google?

No. Google does not take part in IndexNow. To notify Google directly you need the optional Google Indexing API with your own Service Account key that is an Owner of your site in Search Console. Without it, Google finds your pages through your XML sitemap and normal crawling.
How fast will my pages get indexed?

Search engines usually crawl submitted URLs within minutes to a few days, but no tool can promise indexing. Crawling is the step you speed up; the search engine still decides whether the page is good enough to index. Pages that are thin, duplicate or blocked will not be indexed however often they are submitted.
Can I use it as a backlink indexer?

Instant Index is for pages on sites you own. For backlinks on other websites, use our free Backlink Indexer, which gets crawlers to them through crawl pages and supports drip feed.
What does the URL check do?
+
Before you submit, Instant Index loads each page the way a crawler would. It flags 404 and 5xx errors, redirects, noindex tags, X-Robots-Tag headers, robots.txt blocks, missing titles and canonicals that point to another URL. Fixing those first means you only submit pages that can actually be indexed.
How many URLs can I submit at once?

Up to 10,000 URLs per IndexNow batch, which is the protocol limit. The Google Indexing API allows about 200 URLs per day by default, so the tool sends the first 200 when you use Google.
Can I import URLs from my sitemap?
+
Yes. Enter your sitemap.xml address and the tool reads it, including sitemap index files and .gz sitemaps, and adds every URL to the list. You can also upload a TXT or CSV file.
How do I check if a URL is indexed?

After submitting, use the “Check index status on Google” button to open a site: search for each URL, or the Bing link next to each result. For exact data, use the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools.
Is it safe to submit URLs in bulk?

Yes, as long as they are real pages on your own site. Submitting the same unchanged URL over and over does not help, so only resubmit a page after you publish or update it.
Do I still need an XML sitemap?

Yes. A sitemap is the permanent list search engines come back to; Instant Index is the push you use when a page is new or has changed. Use both. Our free XML Sitemap Generator can build one for you.
Is my IndexNow key or Google key stored?

No. Your IndexNow key is saved only in your own browser so you do not need to upload a new file every time. A Google Service Account key is used for that one submission and is never stored or logged.
